REP Fitness announced the launch of its newest product, the Purist Protein Bar on October 12th. Designed with both performance and taste in mind, the Purist Protein Bar is the result of over a year of development, ingredient tweaking, and taste testing by the REP Fitness team. Initially created to provide high-quality snacks for their 200+ employees in the U.S., the bar has evolved into a product that’s now ready to hit the market and elevate your snacking experience.
“We wanted to provide high-quality bars to our staff, but we couldn’t find anything that combined clean, simple ingredients with a great taste,” a representative from REP Fitness shared on Facebook. “So, we took matters into our own hands. After working with a co-packer and testing dozens of ingredients and flavors in our own kitchen, we’re confident that the Purist Protein Bar delivers on all fronts. We’ve taste-tested it with our team, and they love it!”
The Purist Protein Bar made its debut at the Olympia fitness event, where it was met with an overwhelmingly positive response. Thousands of people had the chance to try it, and many were immediately impressed not only by the flavor but also by the clean ingredients list. “We’ve received orders from a simple taste test,” REP Fitness commented. “Gym owners especially love them for their members.”

- The Purist Protein Bar comes in two delicious flavors: Chocolate and Honey Peanut Butter.
- The Chocolate flavor packs 12g of whey protein in just 210 calories.
- The Honey Peanut Butter flavor delivers 10g of plant-based protein from almond and pea protein in 200 calories.
- Although made with plant-based ingredients, the presence of honey in the Honey Peanut Butter bar means it’s not vegan. The Chocolate flavor is made from whey protein, so it’s also not Vegan.
- Each box contains 12 bars.
- All bars are Informed Sport Certified, meaning every batch is tested to meet the highest standards for food safety and performance.
- While the full nutritional details are not yet listed online, Rep states that the bars contain no artificial ingredients. They’re not gluten-free though.
Availability: The Purist Protein Bar is currently available for purchase on the REP Fitness U.S. website. Orders placed by October 13, 2024, will begin shipping by October 25, 2024. Please note that the bar is not yet available on the Canadian site.
Of course, the comments on Rep’s social media have poked fun at the company’s delayed release of equipment. Commenters have suggested these bars will ship next year, but must be paid for now. This is a clear dig at the delayed shipment of the Rep x Pepin Fast Series Dumbbells, which has annoyed home gym owners and caused a stir on social media for the past few months.
